The Deanery is a Secondary Academy in the heart of the growing canal side community of Wichelstowe, which opened in 2019, and along with Kingfisher Academy which opened it's door in September 2021, forms part of the Wichelstowe Trinity Learning Campus and is part of the Diocese of Bristol Academies Trust .
We are a growing school, which along with Kingfisher CE Academy will eventually provide a through education for pupils from 2 - 16 years. With the most amazing facilities, inspirational staff and incredible students,we believe that we have a duty to enable all our students to flourish when they are at school, to enable them to live life in all its fullness.
We are currently searching for an experienced teacher looking to take a step into a Leadership role, to join our team as Lead Practitioner in Maths from September 2023, or as soon thereafter as availability permits, and lead on the improvement of Maths teaching skills through modelling high-quality teaching, coaching and training of other members of staff.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate a real passion for their subject, as well as developing pupil's love of learning and the ability to inspire our students in appreciating numeracy and number manipulation, and how this subject informs many aspects of the world around them.

The Deanery CE Academy is a new school in the heart of the community of Wichelstowe, Swindon. Just 10 minutes from J16 on the M4. We have the most amazing facilities on site at the Wichelstowe Trinity Learning Campus, and beyond within our wonderful new community.
