We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity to join our highly popular and thriving school as our new Leader of Key Stage 3 Science. We offer a generous TLR with this position which is negotiable depending on experience.
Science is a popular subject at The Hinckley School and is taught from Y7 through to Y13. The successful candidate will work with colleagues to develop an innovative KS3 Science curriculum which prepares students for the next stage in their learning and ensures it is implemented and quality assured so that students make outstanding progress. All science specialists are welcome and encouraged to apply.
We are investing heavily in our Science provision - the successful candidate will benefit from our revolutionised and extensive STEM build, with state of the art facilities and science labs, creating a very unique and timely opportunity. (see attached document for more information)
It really is an exciting time to join The Hinckley School. In September 2023 we were rated ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted. We recently achieved our best results ever and with a new STEM build starting this year, a bespoke year 7 and 8 area and refurbished sixth form, the school is building brighter futures.
You may be an ambitious, high flyer who is relatively new to the profession or someone who has been teaching for a few years but is ready for a new challenge. The role offers an opportunity to work with dedicated colleagues and professionals both in school and across The Futures Trust who commit generously of their time to train and develop colleagues.
