Job overview

Do you have the skills to positively influence a young person’s interest and enthusiasm for learning, which can have a direct impact on academic achievement and behaviour?

At R.E.A.L. Education, we work hard to ensure that all of our Learners achieve positive outcomes by engaging with innovative and individualised learning pathways. Our Learners often arrive at R.E.A.L. because they have lost not only interest in their education but trust in the system. This is where our Learner Engagement & Attendance Leads come in to play and support our Learners and encourage them to trust and achieve through innovative learning. Our Learner Engagement & Attendance Leads  get to know our Learners as individuals to ensure that their interests are reflected in their pathway.

We have two opportunities for two people to join our Learner Engagement & Attendance team working across all of our locations in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire. Our ideal candidates will be someone who has substantial experience working with children and young people with a range of additional needs such as SEN/D, Autism and challenging behaviours. Our ideal candidate will also require the ability to establish positive relationships with our Learners, their families and external agencies to ensure that our Learners are fully supported and equipped to venture on their R.E.A.L. journey.

In addition to your holiday entitlement and paid bank holidays, we will offer you 5 days paid dependency leave a year, access to the company’s Westfield Health, support your continuous professional development and provide a life assurance policy.

We believe that building trust and positive relationships with learners is key to successful intervention. If this is something you believe in, then please contact us at applications@real-education.org for a campaign pack, to arrange a visit or for further information.

Closing Date for Applications: Sunday 16 April 2023, midnight

Please note that successful candidates will be contacted no later than Wednesday 19 April 2023
