We have a fantastic opportunity for passionate Lecturers to join our ESOL (16-18) department on full-time, fixed-term contracts until the end of the academic year 24/25, reporting into the Head of Section.

The department offers a friendly working environment with primary objectives to develop learners both on a personal and academic level. The ideal candidate must be willing to inspire, motivate and enthuse the development of our learners to help them in their success towards their career aspirations. You will also be responsible for the delivering and development of courses.

This role will allow you to share your knowledge and experience with students and deliver high quality course content that is highly relevant to today’s workplace and further develop and progress their future career paths.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about their subject area, motivated to support student achievement and is focused and strives for constant improvement.

To be successful you will have a recognised teaching qualification, (L5 or above) and currently hold an ESOL subject specialism. We will also consider someone who is willing to work towards obtaining this qualification. You will also have experience of preparing learners for external assessments with a recognised awarding body and excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to engage, motivate and support mixed ability learners.
