LSE+ Maths Hub is one of a network of 40 Maths Hubs in England, working together within the Maths Hubs Programme, which began in 2014. The programme is funded by the Department for Education (DfE) and coordinated by the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM).

 

Our Hub is made up of over 450 schools and colleges across Bexley, Greenwich, Lewisham, Southwark, Tower Hamlets and the City of London. We work together to achieve excellence in mathematics education from Early Years to Post-16 by providing high-quality professional development opportunities whilst harnessing all the maths leadership and expertise within our area, to develop and spread excellent practice, for the benefit of all pupils and students across LSE+. Our vision is that all pupils enjoy the best possible experience of learning maths, nurturing and developing the mathematicians of tomorrow.

 

You will be line managed by the Programme Manager and work with the Maths Hub Lead, Communications Manager, and our community of Assistant Maths Hub Leads and Local Leaders of Maths Education to provide administrative support for our Targeted Support in Mathematics Programme. The programme provides focused assistance to schools that have been identified as requiring further improvement to their maths provision.

 

You should have experience working in a similar administrative role.

 

The ideal candidate will be someone who has the following skills:

·        Data entry

·        Microsoft Office

·        Google Suite

·        General administration

·        Communication

·        Numeracy
