Job overview
We are looking for a media technician to join our team at City and Islington Sixth Form College on a fixed-term basis. Your primary responsibility will be to support the work of students and teachers of A-Level Media Studies and Film Studies, but you will also support cross-centre events and activities. City and Islington College is a well-established and over-subscribed specialist A-Level centre.
We are situated on one site at the Angel in the heart of London and our wonderful students travel from across the capital to learn with us. We have a wide range of enrichment and extension activities to develop our students' confidence and skills and this post makes a key contribution to that work.
As of 1st of August 2016, City & Islington and Westminster Kingsway Colleges have merged to create the first College Group in London. This exciting development will help secure City and Islington's future at the forefront on skills training in London and widen opportunities for both its staff and students.

Located in the London Borough of Islington, City and Islington College (otherwise known as Candi) is a further education college with students aged 14 and over. The college was first established in 1993, following a merger of four institutions in the local area. As a result, the college has over 12,000 students of all types in attendance.
