Job overview

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and inspirational Musician in Residence-Partnerships to work between two exceptional Music departments in top independent schools for the next two academic years. The postholder will contribute actively to the strong culture of excellent Music in both CLSG and CLS, communicating their own love of Music across the communities and will be expected to support the Director of Music City Schools, with particular emphasis on fostering partnership projects and assist in the development and delivery of short, medium and long term strategic, artistic and educational plans for the co-curricular activities across both secondary schools. It is envisaged that the post will represent 0.6FTE/20 hours per week.

Salary- £21,000 per annum

City of London School is an independent school based in London for boys aged 10-18.

The school site is situated by the Thames. It has over 20 acres of sports pitches. It was established in 1834 and moved to its present site in 1986. The school is governed by a board and by the City of London Corporation, which appoints its governors.
