Occupational Therapist
Band 6/7 equivalent; pro-rata dependent upon qualifications and experience.
Hours; flexible up to 37 per week; academic term time plus 5 college training days and 3 planning and preparation days
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to shape the Occupational Therapy provision within an enthusiastic Multi-Disciplinary Therapy Team. You will provide clinical professional leadership of an effective and efficient integrated therapy service for the College.
You will have a knowledge and experience of sensory processing and post graduate level Sensory Integration training. You will be HCPC registered; you will be responsible for assessing and providing professional guidance and reports for students at all stages. You will work in close conjunction with the education and pastoral teams to enable students to make continued progress in their education programmes.
Applicants for the above post should be well qualified with appropriate experience, imaginative and dynamic and should be committed to the principles of inclusive education.

Livability Nash College is an independent specialist further education college for disabled people aged 19-25.
Based in Hayes, Bromley, the college caters for a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including physical, communication and sensory disabilities, medical conditions or autism, in addition to learning disabilities, from severe to profound.
Our approach places a particular emphasis on ‘Learning Through Living’ – personalised learning, facilitating a range of communication needs, and supporting students in the community and with future vocational opportunities. The Course title is ‘Skills for Adult Life’ and runs for three years with an optional fourth year.
