At Burston & Tivetshall Pimary Schools, we have created a dynamic, friendly and secure environment with a positive approach to teaching. With small classes we can inspire each child, giving them close attention and ensuring they leave the school fully equipped for their next phase of learning.
In our 2021 Ofsted inspection both schools were rated "good" "with a positive climate where pupils and staff feel valued and supported".
THE ROLE
We have a fantastic opportunity available for a new pro-active and diligent Office Manager to join the teams at Burston and Tivetshall Primary Schools on a permanent basis.
The Office Manager will be responsible for the daily operation of the reception area mainly based at Burston sites, communicating with staff, parents and students on a range of issues, as well as providing general administrative support to the school and headteacher. The successful candidate will be required to split some of their time between both schools at the Headteacher’s discretion.
This is a perfect opportunity for someone who wants to advance their career within an independent environment. The term time + 1 contract also allows for plenty of flexibility within school holidays.
If you are looking for a new challenge which offer autonomy and flexibility then we want to hear from you!

Welcome
I am very proud to be the executive headteacher of Burston Primary School in Norfolk.
We are a great school with a very special history and I would encourage you to pay us a visit to find out more.
We have wonderful staff and children, really supportive parents and a real sense of who we are and what we want to achieve. We have small class sizes and adult to pupil ratios that make a big difference to how pupils learn.
Our approach is very child-focused and visitors comment on our excellent behaviour and articulate pupils. We have a strong commitment to developing in all of our pupils a sense of curiosity, resilience and respect.
We are part of Sapientia Education Trust and work with a number of colleagues to constantly improve what we do.
Please take the time to look through our website – or better still, come and see us. We have spaces in all year groups and we would love to see you.
