Tuxford Academy is seeking to employ an Outreach Worker with experience of supporting vulnerable students to improve standards of achievement by the early removal of barriers to learning and providing individualised support and care.

You will work with a team to carry out a range of learning development, student welfare and administrative tasks to support students and teaching staff. These tasks will ensure that funding, intervention strategies and communication are all used as effectively as possible to support the welfare and wellbeing of students.

We would welcome applications from a teaching assistant with behavioural experience or a qualified teacher with behavioural experience looking to move roles or return to teaching.

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of senior leaders and teaching staff.

  • Be adaptable and have the ability to communicate effectively and relate well to children and adults
