The Royal Hospital School is a leading independent co-educational boarding and day school for 11 – 18 year olds, set in 200 acres of Suffolk countryside overlooking the River Stour.

PART TIME OR FULL TIME TEACHER OF GEOGRAPHY (Fixed Term)

This is an exciting opportunity for an highly skilled and passionate teacher to join our outstanding Geography Department with effect from September 2022, on a one year fixed term contract.  

It is expected that the appointee will be an excellent classroom practitioner who has the ability to motivate and inspire students whilst developing a love of learning.  The successful candidate will be expected to be able to teach Geography across the key stages, with previous experience of teaching A Level being desirable.  The ability to contribute to the school’s wider curriculum or co-curriculum would be advantageous, for example through our games programme or by taking responsibility for our Higher Sports Leaders award.

Candidates will have the energy and enthusiasm required to commit to a large boarding and day school.

RHS has its own salary scale, outstanding development opportunities and subsidised accommodation may be available.
