Salary:        Up to £22,000 per annum

Hours:        37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday 8:15 - 3:45

Contract:        Permanent, Term Time only

Purpose of Job

To manage pupils’ behaviour, delivering high quality care and support for emotionally vulnerable young people educated at Wetheringsett Manor School.

To work in close collaboration with the Pastoral managers and behaviour and welfare lead - precise inclusion to maintain a consistent approach and service delivery to the young people.

To practice with a high degree of competence, with the aim of reducing barriers to education and independent social interaction, leading to all pupils achieving their potential.

To co-ordinate, all services in school to provide integrated provision for pupils.

To work with specific pupils and develop their resilience and skills within lessons and around the site to improve their engagement in their own learning.

About the School

Wetheringsett Manor School is a new independent day SEMH School for up to 42 pupils aged 11-18. Our dedicated team work together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils who often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.

Wetheringsett Manor School has gone through significant refurbishment and is based in Suffolk, East Anglia and opened to pupils in November 2020. The Manor House is located in 17 acres of parkland with wooded boundaries and sits on the edge of the village of Wetheringsett. The accommodation also provides several other buildings including a converted stable block, a cottage and two industrial units.

Wetheringsett Manor School is a new independent, day SEMH School for up to 66 pupils aged 11-19. Wetheringsett Manor School site is currently going through significant refurbishment and is based in Suffolk, East Anglia. The Manor House is located in 17 acres of parkland with wooded boundaries and sits on the edge of the village of Wetheringsett. The accommodation also provides several other buildings including a converted stable block, a cottage and two industrial units. This a great opportunity for us in the Suffolk area to expand and complement our current SEMH provisions that are struggling to facilitate for all referrals due to full capacity.
