The Headteacher at Chiddingstone Church of England School is seeking to appoint a new Class Teacher to take up post in September 2024 to join our team of committed and experienced staff and governors in order to “Educate for life in all its fullness”

Located in a beautiful National Trust village, less than hour from London, Chiddingstone School is a one-form entry, co-educational primary school. At the heart of the school is a strong Christian ethos where all are valued and make an important contribution to our school.

The School converted to a Single Academy Trust ten years ago and, as such, we greatly value both our independence and the freedom we have to set our own educational and learning agenda. We have an engaged and dedicated staff team and happy and caring pupils, who embrace learning.

In recruiting a new Class Teacher, we are seeking someone who shares our distinctive vision and ethos and uphold our school values.

Applicants are welcome to visit the school to meet with the Headteacher and have a tour of the school. Please contact Louise Clarke (School Business and Finance Manager and Clerk to the Governing Body) finance@chiddingstone.kent.sch.uk to arrange a visit.

To apply for this role, send your completed application form to finance@chiddingstone.kent.sch.uk

We welcome applications from both experienced and Early Career Teacher backgrounds.

Chiddingstone Church of England School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We expect all staff to share this commitment and to undergo appropriate checks, including an enhanced DBS check. Any conditional offer of appointment will be made subject to receipt of all required documentation and satisfactory verification of all necessary checks.
