Perfil dos(as) candidatos(as)

● Ter experiência pedagógica e conhecimentos sólidos na didática da língua portuguesa como língua materna e não materna no Ensino Básico, com alunos de várias idades, de preferência com alunos do pré-escolar.

● Ter bons conhecimentos de informática na ótica do utilizador, em plataformas de ensino à distância e no uso de outros recursos e ferramentas digitais.

● Ter uma boa capacidade de comunicação e motivação dos alunos; ser dinâmico(a), criativo(a), empreendedor(a) e inovador(a).

● Ter sentido de responsabilidade e espírito de equipa.

● Ter sentido crítico e sensibilidade na pesquisa/criação de soluções e recursos adequados à diferenciação pedagógica e saber ser flexível nas expectativas sobre os alunos e na gestão da estrutura curricular.

Formação académica

● Formação académica base – licenciatura ou mestrado em Ensino Básico

● Formação académica específica – especialização/pós-graduação ou mestrado em didática do português como língua estrangeira / português segunda língua

● Outras habilitações/formações académicas relevantes para o desempenho da função, como por exemplo, em dificuldades de aprendizagem, educação especial, entre outras

 Principais funções a desempenhar

● Lecionar turmas de português como língua materna ou língua estrangeira em todos os níveis de ensino da Primary School (desde os 3 anos de idade).

● Dar apoio educativo a alunos de português língua materna e segunda língua.

● Planificar o seu trabalho individualmente e em grupo de departamento, para os vários níveis de ensino e grupos diferenciados de alunos, tendo em consideração as orientações pedagógicas do Ministério da Educação, as orientações da escola e do coordenador de português na primária.

● Participar em todas as reuniões necessárias para trocar informações sobre o progresso de aprendizagem dos alunos, tais como reuniões de departamento, de pais e encarregados de educação e outras reuniões de docentes.

● Participar em ações de formação interna e externa, sempre que necessário.

● Participar nas iniciativas e nos projetos pedagógicos promovidos pelo departamento de português e pela escola.

● Seguir as orientações pedagógicas e de trabalho decididas em departamento e pela Primary Leadership Team.

St. Julian’s School is a private co-educational not-for-profit school founded in 1932 with a strong record of academic achievement and extra-curricular activity. Located on a beautiful site in Carcavelos, between central Lisbon and Cascais, St. Julian’s has three sections, each with its own Principal: Primary, Bilingual and Secondary.

From Nursery (age 3+) to Year 11 (age 16+) St. Julian’s models the curricula on those currently mandated to schools in England by the UK Department for Education. The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) embraces the two years of Nursery and Reception, ages three to five. Thereafter students progress through the Key Stages of the curriculum.

The Secondary section attempts to nurture in each student a sense of self-confidence and happiness; students are encouraged to speak up for themselves and relationships between teachers and students are lively, engaging and stimulating. At the end of Key Stage 4, students take a series of public examinations (GCSE and IGCSEs).

After age 16, St. Julian’s prepares students for university by offering courses leading to the International Baccalaureate Diploma. St. Julian’s consistently achieves extraordinary results.
