Fixed term contract 2 years

Scale P01 - points 28-31, 35 hours per week, 40 weeks

We are looking for a resilient, determined and proactive person to join our school to take on the important role of school safeguarding and attendance lead. The right candidate will work alongside the Senior Leadership team in helping children and families who require support.

You will be able to build excellent relationships with families and consider the best possible options to support families. You will liaise with outside agencies in order to reach the right support and also be able to signpost families to alternative support.

The school safeguarding and attendance lead will report directly to the Senior Leadership Team and is the school's leading support staff professional working with children and families.

You will:

  • Be dedicated to achieving high quality care and provision for all children.

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work in partnership with enthusiastic and supportive staff, parents, governors and the wider community.
  • Demonstrate a passion for and expertise in child protection and safeguarding
  • Meet the criteria as outlined in the person specification.
