SCHOOLS LIAISON OFFICER - MATERNITY COVER

FULL TIME, TEMPORARY

TERM TIME with an additional 10 working days.

START DATE: August 2024

Hours of Work: 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. (with a 45-minute lunch break) term time plus 10 working days. However, flexibility is essential as evening work will be required.

SALARY: Scale 4 of the Support Staff Salary Spine: £23,585 per annum, pro rata - £25,276 per annum, pro rata.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/MAIN DUTIES:

The key aim of a Schools Liaison Officer is to ensure that prospective students receive high-quality Information at events and assemblies and throughout the year, enabling prospective students to make an informed choice about their post 16 studies. This will involve working within the Schools’ Liaison Team to provide an innovative and proactive Admissions, Marketing and Schools’ Liaison service. The post holder will build, develop, and maintain effective partnerships with staff in schools, prospective students, their parents and guardians and stakeholders internal and external to the College.

Winstanley College is a large sixth form college, which employs approximately 200 staff and around 2300 students aged 16-19, specialising in AS/A levels and Level 3 vocational courses.
