Job overview

The Marist School seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative Science Technician to support our specialised science staff with the delivery of the science curriculum at all three stages. The post is for a total of 22 hours per week, ideally over 4 days, and we offer flexibility on days and hours.

Experience of Lab Logger or similar online platforms for practical requisitions would be advantageous to support the smooth transition. The post holder should have a solid understanding of the practical elements of biology, chemistry, and physics. 

We welcome applicants with relevant experience and knowledge of a range of required practical and wider investigations, along with an understanding of relevant Health & Safety involved, or able to research these elements through our membership of CLEAPSS. The successful candidate will be instrumental in creating an ethos which facilitates the effective education of every pupil and ensures that they make exceptional progress.
