Science Technician for maternity cover
28 hours per week, term time only plus one week,
Grade H4, actual salary £16,105 per annum
This is an exceptional opportunity for a Science Technician to become part of the team in our thriving Science Department, with its excellent facilities and resources. The school has a dedicated STEM block. School laboratory experience is desirable as well as a genuine interest in science and technology, and experience using information technology. A background in biological sciences and/or knowledge of A level Biology would be beneficial. Career development and training will be provided. Part-time hours/job share may be considered for suitably qualified candidates.

Watford Grammar School for Boys is an academy with over 1400 students, including over 400 in the sixth form. From its origins as a charity school for 60 pupils founded by Dame Elizabeth Fuller in 1704, the boys’ school moved to its present site in 1912 and became an Academy in 2010. Located next to the centre of Watford, near Cassiobury Park, it comprises of a Grade II listed building, The Clarendon Muse, The James Theatre, a dedicated STEM Centre and extensive sports facilities.
