We are currently recruiting for a well-qualified and highly motivated Second in English to support the Principal, Head of Department and staff and our students as we ‘strive for excellence’. Join our growing English department today!

The role and what we are looking for

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and inspiring Second in English to support our Director of English and Head of English in our high-flying English department. The successful candidate will be required to develop teaching and learning in English across either KS3 or KS4. The exact responsibilities are negotiable and can be discussed at interview dependent on your skill set.

We are looking for someone who is fully on board with the academy vision, ready to take on ownership of establishing and maintaining great practice, effective data evaluation, and innovating our English offer. This role will involve responsibilities and experiences which will provide excellent preparation for those aspiring to be a Head of English in the future.

AN R&R PAYMENT WILL BE ADDED TO THIS POST OF UP TO £2000 PER YEAR FOR UP TO 2 YEARS. SPECIFICS WILL BE DICUSSED AT INTERVIEW.
