Job Summary

Metropolitan International School seeks a dedicated professional to join our team as a Secondary Humanities Teacher, specializing in Geography and History, starting in August 2024. An ability to teach business studies in the senior years would be a distinct advantage.

We follow the Hessen curriculum, enhanced by the Cambridge IGCSE Programme in the humanities subjects. Our students also have the opportunity to continue their studies within the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, making experience with the IB a valuable asset for candidates.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Secondary Humanities Teacher to enhance our Middle School and Cambridge IGCSE programmes in Geography and History. The successful candidate will be committed to developing engaging curricula and instructional methods suited to the needs of international students.

Candidates should have significant experience teaching Geography and History, ideally including the Cambridge IGCSE framework, and a qualification enabling them to teach in an English-medium instruction environment. Experience with the IB would be considered an advantage. This role requires a deep understanding of the humanities, along with pedagogical strategies tailored to diverse learning styles.
