Job overview

We are currently looking to recruit a number of friendly, enthusiastic, motivated and reliable Teaching Assistants who are committed to supporting our students and school community. You will work alongside the class teacher and a team of professionals to support the learning and care of our very special young people. This is a truly a life enhancing role and one where no two days are the same.

We are a special school for pupils aged 2 to 19 years with a range of Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), including Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). Jack Tizard is a happy, friendly school where pupils are encouraged and supported to learn and achieve. Each child and young person within our school is treated as a unique individual and, our multi-disciplinary approach to learning, provides the opportunities for them to reach their full potential.
