We are looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant, with a passion for children’s education, to provide individual classroom support to pupils on the SEND Register, running specific interventions, support learning needs in small groups and on a one-to-one basis, and contributing towards reviews of pupils' progress.

You will share regular supervisory duties (including before and after school care) and actively promote positive, courteous relations with children, parents and colleagues.

The successful candidate will hold a Relevant Level 3 Diploma in Education and possess, or be willing to obtain, an accredited Level 5 Dyslexia qualification. Relevant experience of working with children with SEND and diagnosed with Dyslexia is essential.

This long-established and well-known preparatory school educates boys aged 3 to 13 (girls 3 to 4), preparing them for entrance and scholarship examinations to independent London day schools and boarding schools across the country. Re-branded in 2011, the school aims to challenge boys in their pursuit of excellence and to inspire each pupil to realise his full potential. Sport, Music and Art are encouraged to a high standard. There are many out-of-school activities, including a wide variety of holiday trips.

The main ages for entry are at three, four and seven years, with smaller entries at five and eight. There are occasional vacancies at other ages.
