Stowe is looking to recruit a keen student who has a Bachelor’s degree or above to act as Spanish Assistant from September 2023- June 2024 . The post of Spanish Assistant at Stowe runs from September to the end of May, although there is a possibility to extend this to June. Our Language Assistants help our A-Level Students to prepare for their spoken examinations on a one-to-one basis and they assist teachers in the department with lower school lessons. The Assistants’ timetable is approximately 16 lessons of 55 minutes each and all members of the School are expected to contribute to the boarding community. The salary is currently around £10,405 pa, plus full board and lodging on site and use of the School facilities. 

The Stowe Group comprises Stowe School, Winchester House School and Swanbourne House School. Stowe School occupies Stowe House and about 200 acres of the Stowe estate, and is located in Stowe’s world- famous landscape gardens set in 880 acres. Stowe School is an independent co-educational boarding School with approximately 850 pupils. There are around 500 full and part-time staff with 80 staff and their families living on site. The National Trust manages the landscape gardens and opens the grounds to over 200,000 visitors a year. Stowe House is open to the public during the School holidays and, for guided tours, during term time.
