Learning Support at Notre Dame 

At Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College we are extremely proud of all our students’ achievements, especially the individual progression that they each make in their time with us.  

The College is seeking to appoint a high performing and enthusiastic individual to the role of Study Skills tutor. This will be to undertake small group tuition with GCSE learners and other small groups of Level 3 leaners for study skills. It is a cross-College role and is funded through the government’s 16-19 tuition fund. 

Our aim is to offer a ‘World Class Catholic Education’ by providing the best care, support and outcome for each individual student.  The role is support students who have been disadvantaged throughout the Covid and it is to provide a range of integrated, responsive, student centred support services for a range of learners. This is a cross-College role and will   enable our learners to more fully access the educational opportunities offered by the College, with local delivery where required, so as to meet the needs of all learners. 

The role provides a highly professional approach whilst also being relaxed and friendly. The strong emphasis on encouraging an easy rapport between staff and students while maintaining a business-like approach to work. The College continues to develop a whole college approach to inclusivity, with staff and students working together.
