Teaching ServiceKingscliff High School, located in the Far North Coast (950 students, including 15% Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students) provides comprehensive, engaging and authentic learning opportunities to the young people of the Tweed Coast communities. We celebrate student individual growth through real world, respectful and passionate learning.
Our school’s priorities are centred on authentic student engagement in learning in an environment where every student is known, valued and cared for. In order to achieve this we are focused on student agency in learning, innovative practice in both the classroom and curriculum design, engagement with our broader community and the purposeful use of digital technology in learning.
Kingscliff High School benefits from dynamic and meaningful partnerships with our neighbouring primary schools through the Coastal Learning Community (CLC) and with our neighbouring public high schools as part of the Tweed 5 (T5) network.
Our school is particularly grateful for the strong support we receive from our community through our P&C and local AECG.
Approval to teach Mandatory History Yrs 7 - 10, Modern History and Business Studies.

Demonstrated capacity to provide a safe and inclusive learning environment which enhances student wellbeing and engagement with learning.
Demonstrated capacity to contribute positively to faculty programs and culture, and to participate in schoolwide programs.
Demonstrated capacity to connect with indigenous and non indigenous parents and other school community members.
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
