Colegio Anglo Colombiano is one of the leading independent IB World Schools in Colombia and South America. We are accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and are members of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) and the Latin American Heads Conference (LAHC). We are also a Round Square school.

We are delighted to welcome applications for the post of Secondary School Teacher of Business & Economics. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and highly-motivated teacher to work within a successful and supportive faculty. He/she will play a vital role in delivering our Diploma Programme (Year 10 to Year 11) and will also be expected to teach some MYP Classes (Year 7 to Year 11).

The Teacher of Business & Economics will be expected to hold excellent subject knowledge and to demonstrate first-rate classroom practice, hence ensuring students benefit from exceptional teaching and learning. A highly collaborative nature and strong communication skills will be essential, allowing the development of supportive relationships with staff, students, and parents, as well as a strong faculty team. An enthusiasm to contribute to our extra-curricular provision will also be expected. Experience of the IB Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme will be an advantage but not essential.

The Colegio Anglo Colombiano is a prestigious international school based in the Colombian capital, Bogotá. Founded by prominent British and Colombian families in the 1950's, CAC, or otherwise known as the Anglo, has become the most sought after school in the region and is rooted in its Colombian and British heritage as well as international philosophy. 

The school was one of the first IB World Schools in Latin America, delivering the IB programmes from pre-kinder through to the Diploma.
