The BTEC provision includes Applied human biology (extended certificate) and Applied science (extended diploma). The faculty is comprised of 16 teaching staff and 5 science technicians all of whom are focused on delivering high quality provision in line with the college vision, mission, and values. A specialist maths team deliver all aspects of the maths curriculum and the traditional A level sciences are also delivered by subject specialists. The applied courses in turn are delivered by a team of specialists which does include teachers of A level subjects. All staff work collaboratively to ensure students receive an enjoyable, enriching, and challenging experience which enables all students to realise their potential.

If you are inspired by our vision, if you are passionate about joining a student-centred educational community built on hard work, if you are committed to living our values, if you are humble and honestly self-reflective, if you are dedicated to shaping a better future, then HNC may well be the perfect match for you.
