We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Teacher of Design & Technology who is knowledgeable and passionate about their subject to join the Cove School team.

 This is an exciting opportunity for a talented, well-qualified and inspiring teacher who will be crucial in the development of the Design Technology (Resistant Materials and Graphics) department at Cove School. You will teach the subject from Years 7 to 11.

Design Technology is an important part of the curriculum at Cove and is a subject that provides many creative and exciting opportunities for our pupils. The successful candidate will have good subject knowledge and be able to motivate pupils through inspirational teaching. The whole vocational learning area which includes 3 rooms, a work area, office and prep room. We boast a dedicated suite of three technology rooms, including two DT workshops, a spacious classroom area, and a large graphics room. The subject is very popular at Key Stage 4 and there are some exciting opportunities to further enhance the quality of provision.

Cove School is a larger than average 11-16 secondary co-educational establishment, located in the north of Hampshire. We are a local authority school within easy commute of London, the historic city of Winchester and the beautiful scenery of the New Forest.
