About the Role

We are looking to appoint an Engineering specialist to deliver on Level 3 Engineering courses. The successful candidate will be a graduate engineer or scientist who is able to deliver two or more of the following areas: electrical & electronic engineering; physics; CAD; general engineering units. We are looking for a committed individual with excellent skills in teaching and learning, and the ability to show kindness and provide valuable guidance to our ambitious students.

The Science & Engineering department is a vibrant and diverse team with staff working in a supportive and collegiate environment to deliver the best outcomes for the students. Lessons take place in well-resourced classrooms, laboratories and engineering suite which have been refurbished following a £1 million multi-phase capital project. Students have strong aspirations, with many progressing to Russell Group universities, competitive HE courses and apprenticeships. The department has a strong history of multiple award winners such as the National BTEC Student of the Year and the AoC Outstanding Student of the Year.
