This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring Teacher of English who has a lively enthusiasm for the importance of student literacy across the Academy.
We are looking to recruit a highly passionate and motivated English teacher who would be committed with leading and developing reading across the school in all curriculum areas. You’ll need to enhance our current reading strategies and provide quantitative data to show what impact this is having on our student’s ability to read with fluency and comprehension.
You will also need to show leadership qualities as you will be required to support and train staff across the school in order to help our student progress with reading strategies, as well as sharing and celebrating quality first teaching across the academy.
Salary: Mainscale/UPS with a TLR and retention and impact bonus (£1,500 1st year, £1,500 2nd year)
