Teacher of English
We require ASAP, a talented English Teacher. The successful candidate should be an exceptional teacher; be committed to the development of teaching and learning; be vibrant and well-qualified. Excellent teaching is of prime importance as is a love of the subject and the energy and knowledge to foster this same passion in students.

UTC@MediaCityUK is based in Salford, in Greater Manchester. It is a 226-pupil mainstream school with a sixth form. The university technical college is funded by the state and educates girls and boys between the ages of 14 and 18. The school resides in a four-floor building and has huge film and radio stations, as well as gaming laboratories. The students have the luxuries of free wifi, a rooftop football pitch and soft-seating work stations.

Values and Vision
The school aims to educate the students about media and the digital age, so they will be equipped with whatever is thrown their way in the workplace. They are taught about broadcasting on the radio and television and digital marketing. The hope is for the children to leave the school as employable individuals who stand out from the rest of the world. The curriculum is balanced and enriching, with the hope that students develop an interest in learning a variety of subjects. Teachers have a good understanding of the media business and are enthusiastic about the topics being taught. Students should enjoy their time at the school. This includes having personal development and getting involved in activities outside of the classroom.
