Tes is supporting the appointment of a Teacher of History to join a Community School based in Hounslow.
This Community School is looking to appoint a positive, dynamic, enthusiastic and well qualified, teacher to join a successful and thriving Humanities Team. The successful candidate will be committed to the development of creative and engaging teaching and learning which will instil in students a passion for learning and change their lives through learning in the Humanities. The Team is well resourced and enjoys excellent facilities.
The ability to teach History to A Level is essential, as is a willingness to contribute actively to the thriving extra-curricular programme and wider school initiatives.
This Community School is a successful, vibrant, happy and oversubscribed school where ‘pupils have high aspirations and want to succeed in education. Leaders have established the right school climate for them to do so. Pupils achieve very well in a wide range of subjects in the main school and sixth form’. They are now seeking to appoint an individual who shares their passion for learning and their determination to change lives through the education they provide.
