Nexus is located in Putrajaya, near Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Established in 2008 as part of the Taylor’s Education Group, we currently enrol 700 students from Early Years to Year 13 who learn through the IPC, IGCSE and IBDP curricula. We have an inclusive admissions policy and you can expect to teach learners with learning and language needs as well as exceptionally academic and talented children. Nexus has a strong record of success at IGCSE and IB.

The student population is made up of over 30 different nationalities giving our school a truly global character. Previous international experience is not required, but the desire to work in a diverse international community is essential. All staff are also expected to contribute to the co-curricular programme. Music is taught from Year 7 up to IGCSE in Year 11 with the possibility of IB Music in the future.  The department is housed in a specialist suite and is extremely well resourced with dedicated classrooms and practice rooms as well as a recording studio with the latest software. An interest in using technology in the music classroom  would be advantageous. We have an extensive programme of individual music lessons and wish to further develop our extra-curricular programme to encompass a wider range of ensembles.  The post attracts a reduction in teaching hours to enable the successful candidate to develop this.
