Job overview

We are a secondary school in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire which delivers Religious Studies to all students in all years in Key Stage 3 and in Key Stage 4. At Key Stage 5 Religious Studies is delivered to a small number of students who have opted to continue the study of this subject. We currently have a position covering maternity leave and are looking to appoint a temporary teacher to cover. Experience of teaching all three Key Stages is not a necessity.

The successful candidate will be joining a department that inspires and excites students about their learning. We are committed to achieving success for all of our students. It will offer the successful candidate a friendly, highly supportive and committed working environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team in our academy. We can offer a salary within a range of £30,000-£46,525 per annum negotiable depending on relevant experience). We welcome applications from experienced teachers, as well as from recently qualified teachers.

We support our NQTs through a bespoke internal training programme with a dedicated mentor, supported by access to external programmes in addition to being registered onto the NIPT induction programme.
