Position Information 

Beverly Hills Girls High School is a comprehensive educational environment accommodating approximately 850 female students ranging from grades 7 to 12 with approximately 97% English as an additional language or dialect (EALD). The school focus is on girls’ education and the cultivation of character, resilience, and a sense of purpose.

The Strategic Improvement Plan (2021-2025) focuses on three main strategic directions: Student growth and attainment, Professional growth and attainment, and School growth and attainment. Embedded within the school culture is a deep commitment to learning, supported by the Quality Learning Framework and the Quality Learning Behaviour curriculum, aimed at achieving excellence.

  
Specific Selection Criteria 
  • Approval to teach PD/Health/PE 7-12.
  • Willing to teach Community and Family Studies, Physical Activity and Sports Studies and Child Studies. 
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver quality teaching programs and assessments that support both faculty and whole school initiatives including sport.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively and collegially in a PDHPE faculty with evidence of interpersonal, communication and organisational skills that build positive relationships with students, parents, staff and the wider community.

  
Conditions 

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
