Who we are looking for

We expect the teachers at the school will work flexibly and be able to work in different departments of the school as need dictates.

As well as possessing Qualified Teacher Status, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver a personalised curriculum to individuals, you will have experience of or an interest in working with children with complex needs (ADHD, OCD and PDA) in addition to autism spectrum disorder.

• ability to teach English at Entry Level and GCSE in addition to
       teaching other subject areas within the context of a specialist school

• ability to contribute to the English Curriculum Group

• understanding of the adaptations needed for pupils with ASD

• experience of working with pupils with SEN, ASD

You will be responsible for planning, implementing and delivering a personalised curriculum to a group of children, which is relevant and motivating for each child, as well as ensuring that the quality of teaching and learning is of the highest level possible and meets all statutory requirements. You will be responsible and lead on a curriculum area. You will line manage and lead a team of teaching assistants.
