Silverdale Primary Academy is looking for a brilliant Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to join our hugely motivated and enthusiastic team. 

In a mainly classroom based role, you will work with colleagues to support both individual and groups of children in their core learning including reading, writing, and mathematics, and on occasions, the role will also require that you provide class cover. ​​​​​​​In addition, you will support pupils in the playground; encouraging the children's development of positive social friendships and play skills.

Silverdale is a large primary school with over 660 pupils and over 90 staff. The building dates back to 1954 but there have been a number of extensions and improvements made to all parts of the building. This includes a children's centre, an ICT Suite and a heated swimming pool which is used year round by our pupils.
