Salary: £26,228 - £27,593 | Full Time (37.5 hours/week)
Purpose of the Role
To support teaching and learning by assisting teachers in delivering education and care to pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours.

We aim to ensure that the children and young people who attend The Grange School are given a holistic education that will provide them with learning opportunities, which target their specific individual education needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Mentoring, supporting and inspiring learners by supporting them with curriculum-based learning in the classroom, on home tuition and outreach and through outdoor activities
Assisting with the preparation of learning material and contributing to the delivery of learning objectives with a strong focus on behavioural management
Report daily on learners’ progress and barriers to learning
Interacting with parents/care givers on a regular basis
Requirements:
A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision
A level 3 TA qualification is advantageous

Pupils
