About the role

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to work with a dynamic and ambitious team through the newly designated Star Teaching School Hub (TSH) in Birmingham South. The Hub supports the DfE’s recruitment and retention strategy by delivering highly effective training and development to schools.

The position requires someone with exceptional project management skills and experience of working within the education sector who can support the growth of school engagement for the TSH’s ‘Golden Thread’ offer of Initial Teacher Education, Early Career Framework programme, National Professional Qualifications and Appropriate Body Service. The role will involve the development, coordination and delivery projects in relation to both programme delivery and partnership development.

The position would appeal to an enthusiastic, engaging and articulate candidate who can think creatively and apply project management skills to remain highly organised and communication skills to build strong relationships.

You will have a good working knowledge of ITT, ECF and NPQ provision as well as the requirements of ECT induction assessment. Working effectively as a part of a local and national team you should also be able to work independently, organise the logistics of professional development programmes, build relationships with stakeholders and be responsible for communications with schools and leaders in the Teaching School Hub. The successful candidate will be able to prioritise a busy workload to consistently meet deadlines.

You will have:

  • Experience of working in sustained and successful partnerships with external organisations.
  • Experience of managing complex projects with multiple strands.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience of developing systems, processes and resources.
  • Strong commitment to the Trust values of ‘Service’, ‘Teamwork’, ‘Ambition’ and ‘Respect’.
