Holy Cross College is seeking to appoint a Temporary Teacher of Geography/Earth Sciences & EPQ (0.6 FTE) to commence from 24th August or 1st September 2022 until 31st August 2023.

You will join us on a salary of £25,826 to £42,149 per annum, pro rata p.a. plus excellent benefits! 

The Geography Department is well-established and successful and offers both Geography and Geology A Levels following the Eduqas specification. There are two fully equipped rooms, refurbished to a high standard, with interactive whiteboards and blackout facilities. The department is very well resourced with a range of specialist fieldwork equipment, a wide variety of stimulus material, a comprehensive on-line library and a well-used Moodle site.

We want our students to have the best possible experience of Geography, to become accomplished, active geographers and to unlock their full potential. We set high expectations of ourselves and our students to help all achieve their full potential, using rigorous assessment and timely feedback to ensure learners make excellent progress throughout their time with us and attain highly at the end

At the present time, the Geography team consists of three members of teaching staff, one of whom is also a Geology specialist, overseen by a Curriculum Leader. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed, and innovative Temporary Teacher of Geography/Earth Sciences & EPQ to commence on 24th August 2022.
