Temporary Teacher of PE

Derby Moor Spencer Academy is a vibrant, oversubscribed, 11 - 18, school with 1,700 students on roll. We are looking to appoint a passionate teacher who is an excellent classroom practitioner who is committed to providing the very best outcomes for all of our student and keen to make a real difference as part the PE Department.

Candidates must be able to teach across the ability and age range, with high-quality PE delivered from Y7-Y13. PE is an extremely popular subject at Derby Moor Spencer Academy with a significant number of students studying examination PE & Sport in Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. We also have an extensive extra-curricular programme at Derby Moor Spencer Academy that we are extremely proud.  

We have fantastic facilities at our disposal which include a Sports Hall, Dance Studio, Fitness Suite, Gymnasium, Astroturf pitch, MUGA (2x Basketball courts and a football court) Outdoor Tennis Courts, Outdoor Netball courts and extensive playing fields.
