As a Group, we can reward our staff better: with good career opportunities, better pay, benefits, and ultimately, the satisfaction of helping children to succeed. We invest in our staff wellbeing. It's an ethos we call ‘the best in everyone’.

About Nova Hreod Academy

Nova Hreod Academy is well placed in an excellent Location, 1 hour from London, 30 minutes from Bath and 20 minutes to the beautiful Cotswolds. We are lucky enough to have a modern building that was designed with learning and development in mind.

At Nova, we want all our students to flourish academically and personally in an aspirational and supportive environment. Our school ethos is deeply rooted in our ‘DISC’ principles of Drive, Integrity, Scholarship and Contribution. As our students develop these values during their time with us, they move towards adulthood, better prepared to take on the challenges they will face.

Rated as ‘good’ by Ofsted in November 2022, inspectors described Nova as a "friendly and welcoming school." They praised our calm and purposeful learning environment, SuperNova enrichment programme and the fact that "children are able to enjoy a rich and ambitious curriculum."

Ofsted highlighted our “well structured” curriculum and that “pupils in all year groups make good progress across all subjects.” They also recognised the improvements in the quality of teaching, learning and assessment, adding that there is “a culture where staff reflect and improve on their practice.”

United Learning schools work as a team and achieve more by sharing than any single school could. The subject specialists, Group-wide intranet, own curriculum, and online learning portal all help us share knowledge and resource, helping to simplify work processes and manage workloads for an improved work-life balance.  As a Group, we can reward our staff better: with good career opportunities, better pay, benefits, and ultimately, the satisfaction of helping children to succeed. We invest in our staff wellbeing.

We are looking to appoint committed, enthusiastic and talented teachers who relish the opportunity to be involved in a fast-paced and innovative environment, making a significant difference to the lives of young people. We are a strong and hardworking team who take the education and safeguarding of our young people very seriously.
