Job overview
Due to expansion at BBIS, we are seeking an outstanding Secondary University and Psychological Counsellor to join our Secondary School, which is currently running the IB MYP program and will be growing through to the IB Diploma over the next two years. Candidates need to be enthusiastic about teaching and working with students in an inclusive international school setting. Experience of teaching post-16 courses is desirable but not essential. Experience of teaching MYP and DP is also desirable but not essential. We are looking for someone who is passionate about international education, creative in their thinking and a student of learning.
What do we look for?
All of our teachers must have either a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a PGCE or an equivalent qualification from around the world. Experience of teaching the IB programmes would be an advantage. However, a demonstrable alignment with the ethos of the IB and a genuine commitment to international-mindedness would compensate in many ways. Experience of using effective differentiation and assessment techniques are essential.
