We have an exciting opportunity for a cover supervisor to join us to work with our students and friendly, supportive staff. The cover supervisor’s primary role is to introduce work to students, set by a subject specialist, and support them with their learning in the absence of the classroom teacher.

The successful candidate will be organised, flexible and reliable, with the ability to work with students in a professional and appropriate way. Candidates should be enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with young people and have the ability to work well in a team. This is an excellent opportunity; especially for candidates considering a teaching career, as previous cover supervisors have gone on to complete their teacher training. Whilst previous experience of working in a secondary school setting is advantageous, it is not essential, as training will be provided.

If you feel your values and ethos align with ours, this is an exciting opportunity for you!

Applicants should also look forward to working with young people, be good listeners and communicate well with colleagues.  All successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check and online child protection training.
