Twickenham Academy is a member of Learning Schools Trust group of academies working together to deliver a personalised education for every student based on the Kunskapsskolan model. The Academies are part of an international network of schools across four countries.
The current Principal is retiring having led the Academy from the opening in 2010 until the move into a purpose built, £20 million building this year while delivering the best results in the school's history.
We are looking for a Principal who shares our vision and can take the Academy to the next level; setting high expectations, leading cultural change and implementing quality systems that lead to improved outcomes for young people.
The successful candidate would take up the post from Easter 2014 and will work alongside the current Principal for one term before taking the substantive post in September 2014.

Twickenham Academy opened in September 2010 and is operated by the Learning Schools Trust as part of an expanding international group of schools in England and Sweden. They are operated by the sponsor, Kunskapsskolan. The academy offers a wide range of subjects to meet young people’s aspirations and interests with a specialism in Sports and Digital Technologies.
Our unique model of education is also based around a three college structure providing a human scale learning environment for every student. Plans for the new building due to open in 2013, are already underway.
