Maths Teacher

Due to the growing numbers of students on roll, the International School Brunei requires a Mathematics Teacher as soon as possible. Ideally, the successful candidate will start at the school before or by January 2024. The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic faculty focussed on the highest possible standards of teaching and learning. The ability to teach KS5 Mathematics (IB, A level or equivalent) is essential.

Mathematics is compulsory for all students in Secondary, and we offer a range of courses to suit the needs of our students. KS3 Mathematics is guided by the British National Curriculum, at IGCSE we offer both International Mathematics and Additional Mathematics (for the most able) using Cambridge Assessment International Examinations, and at IBDP we offer Mathematics AA and AI at both Standard and Higher Level.  

ISB is an inclusive school, therefore the successful candidate will need to have a wide range of pedagogical approaches to Mathematics teaching and be able to deliver innovative and engaging lessons which engage all students. 

The successful candidate will have (minimum): 

·      a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field 

·      UK QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification 

·      experience teaching 16-18 qualification (IB, A level or other equivalent)
