Catering Assistant

Job Family grade OP1: £23,151 FTE (£14,734 pro rata) which includes The Living Wage discretionary supplement, equating to £12 per hour.

 The Lakes School is seeking a permanent Catering Assistant to join our established catering team who offer a breakfast service, along with a full lunch service. The successful candidate will be able to support with the current provision in helping the school to deliver a high-quality catering service.

 Experience of working in a school setting is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with our other team members. We are looking for a highly motivated and committed person to join our team providing high quality nutritious meals for students and staff.

 We are a high achieving, fully comprehensive school; a dynamic and innovative centre at the heart of the Lake District where all pupils are encouraged to be inspired, feel challenged, become empowered. The Lakes School was graded good in all areas by OFSTED in November 2019.
