This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join an outstanding and highly committed leadership team that is establishing our new school in its fifth year of being open. The role encompasses Safeguarding (you will be the named DSL), leading on the Attendance Strategy and being the champion for our disadvantaged students. This is a high impact role and as such, we are looking for a dynamic, visionary leader.

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.  The  school is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions on a self-declaration form in advance of attending an interview (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
