We aim to create a positive and happy learning environment, with a strong Christian ethos and the highest expectations of behaviour and attainment. In 2021 we retained our ‘Good’ Ofsted rating, with inspectors praising our focus on providing a rich and ambitious curriculum right from the start. In February 2017 we joined Acorn Education Trust, which has provided exciting opportunities to improve local education and draw on collective experience.

- Has a clear vision for high expectations and pupil outcomes and is able to raise attainment and challenge students to achieve their best;
- Has a commitment to extra-curricular activities;
- Is aware of current initiatives, particularly the upper KS2 curriculum, and will commit to the role of quality children’s literature in the classroom
- Is an effective team member who can contribute positively to the work in our school;
- Has a positive, cheerful outlook with a good sense of humour;
- Is able to forge good relationships with students and staff and is keen to play a significant role in the life of the school;
- Is able to work hard and remain calm under pressure;
- Has a desire to work within the Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) structure.
We can offer the successful candidate:
- An ambitious, vibrant and welcoming place to work, with enthusiastic children and highly supportive staff who are passionate about learning;
