Science Teacher

Tes is supporting the appointment of a Science Teacher to join a Academy based in East Sussex.

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic science teacher looking to make a real impact in the lives of their young learners? The Academy is open to applications from enthusiastic teachers from any Science discipline whether newly qualified or experienced and they will aim to work to the strengths of the successful candidate.

This is an exciting opportunity to join their friendly, supportive and hard-working Science department where the successful candidate will play a vital role in fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and to help instil a love for scientific exploration among their students.

The department offers a combined science program to all students and triple science to the most able. This continues into their sixth form where they teach A-levels in Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Psychology.

They are seeking a classroom teacher who can articulate a love of their science specialism and who is able to communicate effectively with students of all abilities to inspire the next generation of scientists!

The Academy is a two-campus secondary academy with a Sixth Form provision in Hastings, East Sussex and is the largest secondary with 6th form in the network.
